What happens

Bart Simpson, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt, and Lisa Simpson, the girl with star-shaped spiky hair and a red dress, stand in the Simpson family kitchen with its purple cabinets and checkered floor, Lisa holding a green book and later a lunch box. Bart stands in front of Lisa, then Homer Simpson, the bald heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, enters and holds a red mug while placing a hand on Bart's shoulder, and the two talk face to face beside the stove and a wall clock. Bart wears a green backpack and looks unimpressed, and the final shot shows Springfield Elementary School under a sunrise with the American flag waving out front.
