  14. 1:05 I think there's a T in there somewhere.
  15. 1:09 Ah, look it up.
  16. 1:10 Lisa!
  17. 1:11 Stay cool, Millie.
  18. 1:23 Oh, hi, Lisa. Did you have a nice summer?
  19. 1:26 Don't you hate that we have to go back to stupid school tomorrow?
  20. 1:30 I like school. Me too.
  21. 1:32 We have so much in common.
  22. 1:35 You have a pen glued to your cowlick. If you don't like it, it's gone.
  23. 1:42 Uh, you want this?
  24. 1:44 No.
  25. 1:47 So, Appu, give me the usual.
  26. 1:50 Yes, sir.
  27. 1:50 One cookie dog, one bubble gum cigar, and the latest issue of Success Magazine.
  28. 1:58 Hey, this hot dog tastes different.
  29. 2:00 Yes, I just cleaned out the machine, sir.
  30. 2:02 So the snack you are enjoying has not been soaking in putrid grease.
  31. 2:06 Oh, yeah, but without the grease, all you can taste is the hoginess.
  32. 2:11 I'm so sorry, but I sold it all to the rendering plant.
  33. 2:14 People buy grease? Oh, yes, they use it to make products such as soap, cosmetics,
  34. 2:19 baby food. Used grease is worth money?
  35. 2:23 Then my arteries are clogged with yellow gold.
  36. 2:26 I'm rich, Appu! Rich!
  37. 2:31 Money in the bank.
  38. 2:34 Okay, this bacon's done.
  39. 2:41 And now for the profit-taking.
  40. 2:46 Uh, Dad, I don't think the dog can handle any more bacon.
  41. 2:51 Looks like he's about ready for another squeezing.
  42. 2:53 Homer, that side of bacon was for my bridge gang tonight.
  43. 2:57 Marge, if you don't mind, I'm a little busy right now achieving financial independence.
  44. 3:01 With cans of grease?
  45. 3:03 No, through savings and wise investments.
  46. 3:06 Of course with grease.
  47. 3:08 Come on, Bart, the bus is here.
  48. 3:11 Where do you think you're going? It's the first day of school.
  49. 3:14 Not for you it isn't. You're in the grease business now.
  50. 3:18 Then the doctor told me that both my eyes were lazy.
  51. 3:22 And that's why it was the best summer ever.
  52. 3:25 Thank you, Ralph.
  53. 3:26 Now take your seat.
  54. 3:29 Hey, Blindy, have a nice trip.
  55. 3:32 Ha ha.
  56. 3:35 Attention, please.
  57. 3:37 I need a volunteer for a thankless chore.
  58. 3:40 Shall I assume the only hand in the air is Lisa Simpson's?
  59. 3:44 Thank you, Lisa.
  60. 3:45 We have a new student, Lisa, and I want you to show her the works.
  61. 3:49 The lunchroom, the tree...
  62. 3:51 But when you get to the trophy case, give her some cock and bull story.
  63. 3:55 They're out for cleaning or whatever.
  64. 3:57 Don't worry, I'll help her out. I remember how hard it was to be an outsider,
  65. 4:01 always trying to fit in, never quite feeling like...
  66. 4:04 Lisa, I'd like you to meet Alex Whitney.
  67. 4:07 Your name's Lisa?
  68. 4:08 Shut up! I love that name!
  69. 4:10 Did she just tell me to shut up? Take it outside.
  70. 4:15 You'll want a locker in this hallway. It's library adjacent.
  71. 4:20 Is that perfume?
  72. 4:21 Oh, don't be such a Phoebe.
  73. 4:24 It's Pretension by Calvin Klein. Want to try some?
  74. 4:28 Okay, so what's the haps in Springfield?
  75. 4:30 What do you guys, like, do for fun?
  76. 4:32 Well, you'll definitely want to get yourself a good doll.
  77. 4:35 The new Malibu Stacy has an achievable chest.
  78. 4:39 Dolls, really?
  79. 4:40 Okay, what else you got?
  80. 4:42 Oh, jacks. Jacks are big. They went out for a while, but then they came roaring back.
  81. 4:47 Uh-huh. You mean that game with the little rubber ball?
  82. 4:50 Oh, don't worry. You'll pick it up fast.
  83. 4:52 Once you get to 4Z's, you're in the zone.
  84. 4:56 Uh-huh.
  85. 4:57 Isn't that trophy case supposed to have trophies?
  86. 5:00 Uh, they were all wiped out in the big trophy fire.
  87. 5:03 Ah, I see. The trophies are still out for cleaning.
  88. 5:07 Eh, Lisa?
  89. 5:13 Okay, boy, this is where all the hard work, sacrifice,
  90. 5:17 and painful scaldings pay off.
  91. 5:20 Four pounds of grease.
  92. 5:23 That comes to... 63 cents. Woo-hoo!
  93. 5:28 Dad, all that bacon cost $27.
  94. 5:31 Yeah, but your mom paid for that.
  95. 5:34 But doesn't she get her money from you? And I get my money from Greece.
  96. 5:38 What's the problem?
  97. 5:41 Wow.
  98. 5:42 Look at that load of Greece.
  99. 5:45 Boy, if we're ever going to earn paper money, we have to expand our operation.
  100. 5:49 Um, I don't know how much more school I can miss.
  101. 5:52 Oh, you'll miss plenty.
  102. 5:54 I have a feeling this business is going to consume our whole lives.
  103. 6:01 Alex, over here!
  104. 6:03 Okay, if the new girl sits with us?
  105. 6:05 Okay, I guess. She's a little weird, but let's give her a chance.
  106. 6:09 Guys, this is Alex.
  107. 6:11 Hi there. Bye.
  108. 6:12 Ooh, twins.
  109. 6:14 Which one is the evil one?
  110. 6:20 Okay, I'll go get our lunches.
  111. 6:22 So, Alex, uh, will you just a sec?
  112. 6:26 Hello?
  113. 6:28 Oh, yeah, like I'd be seen with a Discover card.
  114. 6:32 You have a cell phone? and a purse?
  115. 6:37 That's it. Don't be shy.
  116. 6:39 Now maybe a little joke to break the ice.
  117. 6:43 Or a big joke.
  118. 6:46 Careful now. Nobody likes a show-off.
  119. 6:50 Where are they going?
  120. 6:52 Hey, wait up!
  121. 6:55 They left without me.
  122. 6:58 Oh, Lisa!
  123. 7:00 I've got an extra seat And you've got an extra lunch.
  124. 7:05 Catch my drift.
  125. 7:08 Milhouse, lower those eyebrows.
  126. 7:10 And the other one.
  127. 7:19 So there I am, being nice to Alex, and she takes all my friends and ditches me.
  128. 7:25 I'm sure they didn't ditch you, honey.
  129. 7:28 Maybe they won't have to plan a surprise party for you.
  130. 7:32 Oh, yeah.
  131. 7:34 Good one, Mom.
  132. 7:35 They only like her because she acts so grown up with her perfume and her cell phone.
  133. 7:40 Oh, and get this, Mom. She drinks iced tea.
  134. 7:46 Lisa, I can't imagine anyone being more likable than you.
  135. 7:50 But apparently this new girl is. So my advice would be to start copying her in every way.
  136. 7:55 But Dad... Uh-uh. Think.
  137. 7:58 Is that what Alex would say?
  138. 8:04 Oh, there you are. Listen, I'm sorry I ran out on you yesterday,
  139. 8:08 but the girls couldn't wait to show me that tree.
  140. 8:10 Don't give it a second thought. I didn't.
  141. 8:12 Anyway, I got you a little present.
  142. 8:16 Oh, earrings.
  143. 8:17 Wow, thank you so much, Alex.
  144. 8:20 Oh, but these are for pierced ears.
  145. 8:23 Yeah, aren't they great? Alex did ours.
  146. 8:26 Yeah, all you need is a thumbtack and a whole lot of paper towels.
  147. 8:29 Uh, but I don't think I'm ready for pierced ears.
  148. 8:33 Well, maybe you can put them on your doll.
  149. 8:38 Just kidding, Lisa.
  150. 8:40 I'm sure you'll be ready someday.
  151. 8:42 Oh, Lisa,
  152. 8:42 I was hoping I could count on you again to spearhead our annual school-wide apple pick.
  153. 8:47 Absolutely.
  154. 8:48 Apple pick? Yeah, it's great. We have pony rides, sing-alongs, apple bobbing,
  155. 8:54 apple picking, apple everything.
  156. 8:55 Ah, you forgot apple bobbing. No, I didn't.
  157. 8:58 Didn't your old school have apple picks?
  158. 9:00 No, we weren't big on fruit.
  159. 9:02 We were more into like dances.
  160. 9:04 You know, things that are fun.
  161. 9:06 A dance? Great idea, Alex.
  162. 9:09 Yeah.
  163. 9:09 Principal Skinner, can we have a dance instead?
  164. 9:12 Oh, yeah.
  165. 9:13 Do it.
  166. 9:15 Well, uh, we've never had a dance before.
  167. 9:19 Lisa, you'd be doing all the work. What do you think?
  168. 9:21 I don't know.
  169. 9:23 The ponies might be startled by the loud music.
  170. 9:25 Well, there wouldn't be ponies. Oh, then, at the risk of being unpopular,
  171. 9:30 I think I'm gonna have to say...
  172. 9:36 School dance?
  173. 9:38 I didn't approve any school dance. Yes, you did yesterday, right by my locker.
  174. 9:43 Oh, yes, yes.
  175. 9:45 Um, carry on.
  176. 9:57 When you want grease, go to the source.
  177. 9:59 Good old Krusty Burger. Oh, I'll say.
  178. 10:02 Look at that red-headed kid. There must be $20 worth of grease on his forehead alone.
  179. 10:06 I was thinking more of the deep fryer. All right, we'll try it your way.
  180. 10:13 Can I help you, sir?
  181. 10:16 My God, you're greasy.
  182. 10:18 Mr. Maruka, help!
  183. 10:23 Mom's gonna kill you. If she didn't want her car ruined,
  184. 10:26 she should have done a better job hiding her keys.
  185. 10:31 Hey, what the...
  186. 10:35 Hey, hey, you're taking our grease!
  187. 10:37 It's our grease now.
  188. 10:40 We run the grease racket in this town.
  189. 10:44 Hey, that's my shovel!
  190. 10:46 We also run the shovel racket.
  191. 10:57 Okay, girls, we're gonna need balloons, crepe paper, party hats.
  192. 11:01 Whoa!
  193. 11:02 You've got a dingo junction here?
  194. 11:15 I am not wearing this. Oh, come on, Lisa.
  195. 11:18 It's totally you.
  196. 11:19 Just, you know, add some accessories, lip gloss, maybe drop five pounds.
  197. 11:22 Aren't we a little young for makeup and...
  198. 11:25 What do you mean five pounds?
  199. 11:27 Well, you want to look nice for your date.
  200. 11:29 Date?
  201. 11:30 Hello.
  202. 11:31 For the dance?
  203. 11:32 You guys have dates?
  204. 11:34 Hello!
  205. 11:35 Stop saying hello!
  206. 11:36 Okay, calm down, Lisa.
  207. 11:38 DMY. What's DMY? Don't mess yourself.
  208. 11:42 Ew.
  209. 11:43 Yeah, that's why we changed it to DMY. Don't worry, Lisa.
  210. 11:46 There's still plenty of time. You'll get a date.
  211. 11:48 I don't want a date! And I don't want to wear perfume and cocktail dresses.
  212. 11:53 Am I the only one who just wants to play hopscotch and bake cookies and watch the
  213. 11:56 McLaughlin Group?
  214. 11:59 Hello?
  215. 12:05 Oh, I can't believe those goons muscled me out of my grease business.
  216. 12:09 I've been muscled out of everything I've ever done, including my muscle-for-hire business.
  217. 12:15 My poor homie. Couldn't you try some other far-out money-making scheme?
  218. 12:21 Oh, what's the point?
  219. 12:23 You could raise some emos.
  220. 12:25 Emos?
  221. 12:26 Really?
  222. 12:27 Oh, that's pretty crazy.
  223. 12:30 Nah, I'd only fail just like I fail at everything.
  224. 12:34 Hey, Dad, I've been thinking.
  225. 12:35 What if instead of giving up on Grease, we'd go for one last big score?
  226. 12:39 Wait a minute.
  227. 12:40 The boy's right! I can't quit now!
  228. 12:43 Aw, you always know just what to say to cheer me up.
  229. 12:46 Emu Farm?
  230. 12:50 You're priceless, Marge.
  231. 12:55 The thing about huckleberries is, once you've had fresh,
  232. 13:00 you'll never go back to canned.
  233. 13:03 So anyway, I kick the guy's ass.
  234. 13:08 Now, if the berries are too tart, I just dust them with confectioner's sugar.
  235. 13:14 Good secret. Hey, guys.
  236. 13:24 Hi, Lisa. Are you all right?
  237. 13:27 No doubt.
  238. 13:29 Can't a girl fabulize herself before the big dance?
  239. 13:32 Your earlobe's bleeding.
  240. 13:34 Oh.
  241. 13:35 So, I guess Major Muffins like yourselves all have dates, huh?
  242. 13:39 You'd better believe it.
  243. 13:41 Really? All of you? Ah, we all have dates, Lisa.
  244. 13:45 Everyone does.
  245. 13:47 Even me.
  246. 13:49 Unbelievable.
  247. 13:50 Whoa!
  248. 13:54 Another wedgie.
  249. 13:57 Hang on, I'll get my forceps.
  250. 13:59 All right.
  251. 14:01 Milhouse, I've been looking all over for you.
  252. 14:03 Listen, you've always had a crush on me, right?
  253. 14:06 Well, this is your lucky day, because you're going to take me to the dance.
  254. 14:10 Pretty great, huh? See ya.
  255. 14:11 Oh, but I can't. I already asked somebody.
  256. 14:14 So un-ask her.
  257. 14:17 But that one... You're taking me, you got that?
  258. 14:20 And it's gonna be a magical evening.
  259. 14:25 What am I doing?
  260. 14:26 This isn't me.
  261. 14:27 I'm sorry, Millhouse.
  262. 14:30 I'm free next weekend!
  263. 14:32 There's plenty of Millhouse to go around!
  264. 14:46 All right, son. We're about to embark on our most difficult mission.
  265. 14:50 Let's bow our heads in prayer.
  266. 14:52 Dear Lord, I know you're busy,
  267. 14:54 seeing as how you can watch women changing clothes and all that.
  268. 14:57 But if you help us steal this grease tonight,
  269. 15:00 I promise we'll donate half the profits to charity.
  270. 15:03 Dad, he's not stupid.
  271. 15:05 All right, screw it. Let's roll.
  272. 15:10 I knew I should have attached out somehow.
  273. 15:15 Lucky parameciums.
  274. 15:16 You don't have to worry about finding dates or dancing.
  275. 15:23 Lisa, I made you some homemade Pepsi for the dance.
  276. 15:27 It's a little thick, but the price is right.
  277. 15:29 Thanks, Mom, but I told you I'm not going.
  278. 15:32 Oh, so you don't have a date.
  279. 15:34 You can still go and have a wonderful time.
  280. 15:37 You don't understand. I don't belong there.
  281. 15:40 The other girls are already into fashion and makeup and dating.
  282. 15:43 They make me feel like a little baby.
  283. 15:46 Oh, honey, a baby couldn't have organized a big school dance.
  284. 15:51 Unless it was especially skilled.
  285. 15:54 Or one of those super babies from Brazil.
  286. 15:57 Forget it, Mom. I'm not going.
  287. 15:59 But they're counting on you to take tickets.
  288. 16:01 And if you sit there with a brave little smile and a festive bow, why,
  289. 16:06 you could be the belle of the ball.
  290. 16:08 Mom, you can't possibly believe that.
  291. 16:11 I have to, honey. Or you can stay here and we'll have our own dance.
  292. 16:17 Every Simpson dance now.
  293. 16:19 Bump, bump, bump, bump, bump, bump. I'll go.
  294. 16:24 This better work, boy.
  295. 16:26 I don't want to wind up working on your mother's emu farm.
  296. 16:29 Don't worry.
  297. 16:30 This is the score we've been dreaming about.
  298. 16:32 The grease traps in this kitchen have never been emptied.
  299. 16:41 Okay, turn on the suction.
  300. 16:45 It's not working.
  301. 16:52 What is it?
  302. 16:54 Uh, nothing.
  303. 16:58 Enjoy the dance.
  304. 17:04 Wow, Lisa. I really admire your guts.
  305. 17:08 You came here all by yourself at the risk of being labeled a dateless wonder.
  306. 17:13 Ow!
  307. 17:14 It slipped.
  308. 17:19 Ah, it's gonna be a long night.
  309. 17:25 Where's the hose? Bringing up the rear.
  310. 17:29 Are you as excited as I am? Oh, yeah.
  311. 17:33 Well, here goes.
  312. 17:40 And now we wait.
  313. 17:44 So, is this your school? Well, it used to be.
  314. 17:57 I mean, what are you doing here?
  315. 18:02 Uh, well,
  316. 18:03 we're a new foreign exchange students from Scotland.
  317. 18:09 Saints be praised. I'm from Scotland.
  318. 18:12 Where do you hail from? Uh, North Kilt Town.
  319. 18:18 No fooling! I'm from North Kilt Town. Do you know Angus McCloud?
  320. 18:23 Wait a minute.
  321. 18:25 There's no Angus McCloud in North Kilt Town?
  322. 18:29 Why, you're not from Scotland at all.
  323. 18:32 Ah, don't be daft. I was born in re...
  324. 18:35 Eh, what the... My retirement, Greece!
  325. 18:40 No! You thieving grease pundits, I'll kill ya!
  326. 18:44 Wait up!
  327. 18:52 Not so fast, boyo.
  328. 18:54 Hell, if it was up to me, I'd let you go.
  329. 18:57 But the lads have a temper, and they've been drinking all day!
  330. 19:01 Ow!
  331. 19:04 Ow! Stop pummeling me!
  332. 19:06 It's really painful!
  333. 19:09 All right, fine.
  334. 19:11 I'll strangle you for a while!
  335. 19:18 Lisa, I have to run home.
  336. 19:20 I need you to keep an eye on the dance.
  337. 19:22 Oh, I don't want to go in there with all the happy dancing couples.
  338. 19:27 Normally I wouldn't ask, but it's an emergency.
  339. 19:30 Mother has a June bug cornered in the basement, and she needs me to finish it off.
  340. 19:34 Come on, chop chop. All right, all right, DMY.
  341. 19:37 I know what that means, young lady.
  342. 19:44 Huh?
  343. 19:53 Oh, Lisa, it's terrible.
  344. 19:55 Okay, this dance has gone titanic.
  345. 19:57 What happened?
  346. 19:58 Well, the boys and girls are, like, afraid of each other.
  347. 20:01 They're acting like a bunch of... Kids?
  348. 20:03 I know. What is up with that?
  349. 20:05 It's because they are kids, and so are we.
  350. 20:08 Come on, Alex.
  351. 20:10 We've only got nine,
  352. 20:11 maybe ten years tops when we can giggle in church and chew with our mouths open and go
  353. 20:17 daze without bathing.
  354. 20:18 We'll never have that freedom again.
  355. 20:21 Hmm.
  356. 20:22 Listen, you can giggle and stink all you want, but I have a credit card, so...
  357. 20:26 on you.
  358. 20:30 Guys, guys, the homes! But please,
  359. 20:35 the ground keeper and I are trying to settle this like adults.
  360. 20:48 Huh? Look, it's snowing.
  361. 20:54 Ah, the snowflake tastes like fish sticks.
  362. 21:11 It's like a hamburger milkshake.
  363. 21:14 Here comes a grease ball.
  364. 21:17 Hey, Luigi bring your kids a free pizza.
  365. 21:20 Why you have to make the fun, eh?
  366. 21:27 Oh, that's my grease. It's mine!
  367. 21:30 Give it here. They're playing in Greece?
  368. 21:33 Yarg!
  369. 21:35 Oh, at your age.
  370. 21:40 You are so dead.
  371. 21:47 Ow!
  372. 21:50 There was bacon in that!
  373. 22:05 Thank you.
  374. 22:38 Shh.
