What happens

Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart proprietor with dark hair and a green jacket over a black shirt, sits hunched on a rooftop against a huge full moon at night, first looking down with a sour expression and then tilting his head back with eyes closed. In the middle frames the Simpsons family, Homer with blue-haired Marge, Lisa and Bart, stands below gazing up at him from the street in front of their pale green house with a purple door. The view then shifts to the glowing Kwik-E-Mart sign and storefront across the rooftops, with Apu's figure at the edge of the scene, and the final frames return to Apu on the roof with his eyes shut and head raised toward the moon.
