What happens

Homer and Bart stand in front of a wooden Ring Toss booth with clothes hanging on a line behind it, while a carnival vendor in a red cap and dark vest holds a stick and gestures before shaking Homer's hand. A grey-haired boy with a braid sits on a wooden crate beside a cup and a blue object, then the vendor points his stick at the crate and the boy stands and dips red apples at a table with a metal bucket labeled BARF filled with caramel.
