What happens

A row of children sits on a dirt patch in front of green bushes and a palm tree, with Bart at the left holding a small object, a blocky-headed boy in a blue shirt, a yellow boy in a blue shirt who wails and rubs his head, a dark-skinned girl with an afro, and a brown-haired boy with his arms crossed. Lisa in her red dress and pearl necklace and Milhouse with blue hair and red-framed glasses sit on the right, and a girl with purple hair and pink bows gestures and talks while holding a smaller purple-haired girl who hides her face in her arms. Across the frames the children stay seated as the purple-haired girl keeps gesturing and speaking, while the crying boy rubs his head and the others look on.
