What happens

No regular characters are shown; the scene is an animated title sequence with a red car, seen from behind, driving down a desert road toward a setting sun while flames sweep across a waving American flag with stars and stripes. The car is a boxy red vehicle with a white license plate, and it is framed by burning orange fire, with the word CANYONERO appearing in flaming letters across the top of the flag. The image gradually darkens to black, then the credits fade in on the black screen in orange letters, first reading 'Executive Producer MIKE SCULLY', then fading out and giving way to 'Executive Producers JAMES L. BROOKS, MATT GROENING, SAM SIMON'.
