About the episode
At Bart's urging, Krusty the Clown joins a comedy festival run by Jay Leno, but his stale act bombs beside trendier comics such as Janeane Garofalo and Bobcat Goldthwait. After a long bender, his retirement press conference becomes a rant against modern comedy that wins the crowd over, and he reinvents himself as an anti-corporate truth-teller until two ad men lure him into pitching the Canyonero.
