The Simpsons, “The Last Temptation of Krust” (season 9, episode 15), 3:25–3:37
What happens
Bart Simpson, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt and blue shorts, stands holding a green flyer across from a heavyset man with swept-back grey-blue hair, a pink sweater and a lilac jacket, in a room with a ladder and a wall calendar. Bart gestures and then raises the flyer, which reads "LOCAL CLOWN AVAILABLE FOR HIRE" above a cartoon clown with speech bubbles "HIRE ME!" and "I'M FUNNY" and the price "$205" along its tear-off strips, while the man talks, points at it and grins. The scene ends on a green door with a yellow knob and a sign showing a star-shaped clown above the words "KRUSTY THE KLOWN".
