What happens

Krusty the Clown, with green curly hair, red nose and a black tuxedo with bow tie, performs stand-up on a stage holding a microphone, first in close-up gesturing with a raised finger and an open hand in front of a brick backdrop. He then steps back into a spotlight on the wooden stage with red shoes, gesturing with his hands while the audience of seated patrons at small tables, some with red-shaded lamps, watches from the bottom edge. In the final frames he stands with his back to the audience, arms spread wide, facing the rows of seated patrons in a dark theater with a microphone stand at the right.
