What happens

Homer, bald and heavy in a white shirt, and Marge, with her tall blue beehive, sit at the bottom of the frame watching a small stage in a pink living room under a banner reading "Bart's Comedy Jam." Bart, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt, first stands on the wooden stage making gestures and grinning, then steps off to the left. Krusty the clown, with his green hair and bow tie, takes the stage and stands with his arms out, then holds a glass of water and a notepad in his white-gloved hands. Bart returns to stand beside the armchair at the left, while Homer and Marge clap, and a small grinning figure sits on the chair.
