What happens

Bart Simpson, a boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt and blue shorts, first stands with a green backpack on his back on the carpet beside the staircase, while Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive and red bead necklace, stands in the doorway behind a green-clad arm. Bart then sets the backpack on the floor and stares uneasily toward the front door, where a chubby, blond-haired boy in a blue shirt and red belt, holding a chocolate-dipped popsicle and a pink woven finger trap, stands on the mat outside with a suburban house and garage behind him. The boy grins, speaks, and raises the finger trap while Bart keeps watching him.
