Milhouse and Bart stand talking on a sidewalk in front of a house with an orange door and steps

What happens

Milhouse, with blue hair, red glasses, a pink shirt, red shorts and an orange book under his arm, and Bart, with spiky hair in an orange shirt and blue shorts and sneakers, stand talking on a sidewalk in front of a house with an orange door and steps. Milhouse speaks and gestures while Bart shrugs with open hands, looks sheepish, and then looks away, and Milhouse rests a hand on his chin in thought before the scene cuts to a yellow school bus whose side reads "SPRINGFIELD ELEME[NTARY] SCHOOL".
