What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavyset in a white shirt, stands at a blue Buzz Cola vending machine and feeds a dollar bill into its slot, which spits the bill back out, and he pushes at the machine with both hands and then holds the bill again at the slot. The scene then cuts to a small white propeller plane flying through a blue sky with clouds, where a grey jet fighter approaches from the right and draws alongside it. Two men sit in the plane's cockpit: a brown-helmeted pilot in goggles with a brown jacket, and a curly-haired man with glasses.
