What happens

Mr. Burns, the frail, stooped old man with a hooked nose and a blue hair-wrap, stands in a gallery hallway with Smithers, his thin assistant in glasses, and a third man in a dark suit with neat grey hair who is Principal Skinner's type but is shown with brown hair, so he is described as a man in a grey suit with brown hair. Burns is angry, scolding and jabbing a finger upward and at the man beside him, while the man in the grey suit stays stern and unmoved. Along the red-carpeted hall, a bald heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, who is Homer, stands by a pink doorway, and a framed painting of a figure in red and green hangs on the blue wall. Later, Burns and the men are seen close together and Burns angrily gestures, while the man in the dark suit with reddish hair looks on and a painted figure in a feathered hat watches from a purple frame. In the final moments the hallway is empty except for Homer standing by the doorway with the painting of the red-clad figure on the wall.
