What happens

A bearded farmer in overalls and a pink shirt, not one of the regular characters, stands outside a red barn in the rain, holding a rifle with a pitchfork tip and a green lantern. He takes the rifle and lantern into the barn, past the wooden double doors, while Homer in a white shirt and Marge with her tall blue beehive and red beads hide wide-eyed in a pile of hay in the loft. The doors swing open to show the farmer walking in with the lantern and rifle, as several chickens scatter across the barn floor.
