What happens

Homer, in a white spacesuit with a green breathing tube, lies strapped inside a cramped spacecraft cabin beside a can labeled BEER PASTE, grimacing and gaping with wide eyes at the control panel. The scene then cuts to a living room where Homer, shirtless and heavyset with a stubbly beard, sits in a dark red armchair beside Lisa in her red dress and pearl necklace, under a pink-and-purple balloon, as he talks and gestures and looks sideways. Last, an exterior view shows a white space shuttle drifting toward a white orbiting space station with solar panels above a blue Earth, against a starry black sky.
