What happens

Homer, in a blue vest, is escorted by Chief Wiggum and two showgirls in pink-and-red costumes with white feathered headdresses down a stairway lined with cheering, jeering spectators toward an electric chair on a red carpet under a spotlight, while the crowd in the seats and the stairs watches. The scene then cuts to the Simpson family on their living room couch, Homer gesturing as Marge, Maggie and Lisa look on, with Santa's Little Helper lying on the rug. Yellow on-screen credit text reads "Produced by Heinous Richard Raynis" and then "Written by Donick Cary, David S. Coffin."
