What happens

Homer Simpson lies in bed under a blue blanket beside Marge, whose blue beehive hair is visible on the pillow, while Lisa in her green-collared teal dress and Bart in his green sweater stand at the foot of the bed in a pink-walled bedroom with a framed picture and an arched doorway. Homer sleeps peacefully at first, then his eyes pop open in alarm as his mouth moves and he looks around, and the children stare at him with wide eyes. The sequence ends with Homer wide-eyed and speaking in bed, the children still watching, with the credit text reading Consultant John Swartzwelder, then Supervising Director Jim Reardon, then Produced by Colin A.B.V. Lewis, displayed over the lower part of the scene.
