What happens

Homer Simpson, bald and heavy in a white shirt and blue pants, first browses a rack of Valentine's cards at a stand labeled 'Valentine's', pulling out and studying cards with a grumpy look, then pauses with a hand to his chin before turning to glance off-screen. He then steps to the counter of the Kwik-E-Mart, where Apu, in a green jacket with a black collar, stands behind the cash register beside a 'JACK POT' poster, a 'KEEP OUT' blue door, and 'GIVE' donation jars. Homer leans on the counter with folded arms, talking and grinning while Apu holds a small white card and listens, then answers, with the two chatting across the counter.
