What happens

A man in a plaid jacket, tie and hat stands alone at a microphone on a stage before a red curtain, and then a group of people, including bald heavy Homer in a blue suit, hurries through a doorway into an auditorium past rows of purple seats. The scene then moves to a drive-in at dusk, where Bart sits in the back seat and Marge, with her tall blue beehive, drives while Homer in his suit sits beside her eating from a box of Cult Goodies, which he opens and reads from while his mouth is open. Cars and a row of other vehicles are visible through the windshield and windows.
