What happens

No regular Simpsons characters appear in this moment; it is a black background showing an animated sub sandwich in close-up. A small sandwich appears at the top of the screen and then drifts to the center-left, where it is shown in an enlarged view. The sandwich is then pulled apart into separate layers, a baguette top, strips of bacon, round slices of meat, a layer of ham, and a bottom bun, which float apart vertically and shift slightly, with the meat slices multiplying from two into three. No on-screen text is visible.
