What happens

Homer stands at a wooden counter with a stack of plates while a man in a red MACK cap and green plaid shirt with suspenders sits in front of him, and a thin man in a red cardigan with a black bow tie gestures with an open hand beside them. Carl, a Black man in a purple sweater, watches from the right and Bart, a small spiky-haired boy, peeks in behind Homer. Homer clasps and grips the red-capped man's hand and arm, sometimes with his arms folded, and his mouth moves as he talks, before the view widens to a wood-paneled diner with two farm paintings on the wall, where Homer leans over the counter gripping the cap-wearing man's hand while a grey-haired woman in a pink top, a child in a green shirt, and a woman in a purple dress sit at a table in the foreground.
