What happens

Congregants in a church pew pass a collection plate, including a man in a blue suit with a pink tie, an older woman with grey-violet hair in a purple dress, and a dark-haired man in a blue suit who takes money from the plate, while a woman with auburn hair in a green jacket sits nearby. The scene opens on the First Church of Springfield sign reading 'Today's topic: Christ dyed eggs for your sins,' then cuts to the sanctuary where a preacher stands at the pulpit above rows of pews, and a 'Co-Executive Producer George Meyer' credit fades in and out over the congregation before the pews are shown up close.
