What happens

Homer, the bald, heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, lies on the brown living room couch with a blue pillow behind his head, eating from his hands as his mouth moves. Over the clip he keeps munching, then raises a hand to his face and tilts his head back, while Santa's Little Helper, the brown greyhound, lies on the rug near the white TV, first in view and then mostly at the bottom edge of the frame. Notable objects include a framed sailboat painting on the pink wall, a purple lamp and teal telephone on a side table, and an orange floor lamp.
