What happens

Homer, a bald heavy man in a green sweater and blue jeans, and Bart, a spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, are in a purple-walled workshop with shelves of blue and pink How-To books and a Soap Box Trials Springfield poster on the wall. Homer walks in from the left and stops beside a half-built wooden soapbox racer strewn with planks, a metal toolbox and paint cans, while Bart works on the car with a wrench. Homer then lifts a coiled green garden hose, leans over the racer, and gives a stern sideways glance as Bart keeps working.
