What happens

Homer, in a yellow hazmat suit and helmet, works at a control panel beneath a CAUTION sign, holding a glowing green rod with tongs, while Mr. Burns and Smithers watch from behind the panel; he then raises an arm toward the floating green glow. Lisa, with star-shaped hair and glasses, reads a MOM Monthly magazine with a Frosted Krusty Flakes cover at a store checkout, with Marge partly visible beside her and shelves stocked behind them. Maggie, sucking a pacifier and wearing a blue bow, sits in a shopping cart as Marge, eyes closed and smiling, raises a hand beside her against an orange wall.
