What happens

Homer, in a red cap and white uniform, and Carl, a Black man in a white uniform, are at Springfield's softball field, with a man in a straw hat watching by a scoreboard reading Fort Springfield 7, Power Plant 33, Inn 4, Out 1. Homer sets a bat labeled WONDERBAT on an open case, then a close-up of train wheels bearing a Springfield Heights sign appears, and later Carl and an unnamed bespectacled player in the dugout hold up bats and a pale wooden leg-shaped object. Carl hoists a bat over his shoulder while the bespectacled player clutches the pale object.
