What happens

Homer, in a white cowboy outfit and hat, points at an elderly woman with a grey-blue bun, blue dress, black shawl and cane, while a blonde woman in an orange shirt and jeans stands beside him. The scene opens on a Springfield Variety newspaper headline, 'HIX IN STIX LOVE CHIX LIX', with a sketch of a woman, then shows the old woman walking up to a pink park bench with a plaque reading '...rleen ...mpkin' and music notes, where she pauses holding a small book and later sits down while Homer gestures at her. Small white flowers are scattered on the grass near the bench, and a tree stands at the left.
