What happens

Marge Simpson, with her tall blue beehive and red bead necklace, sits at a kitchen table writing on a notepad with a pencil, while Patty, Marge's grey-violet-haired twin sister, smokes a cigarette beside her, and Homer, in a white shirt, leans over the counter in the kitchen. The scene begins with an exterior view of the Simpsons' two-story brown and cream house with its arched windows, attached garage, and blue mailbox at the curb. Marge keeps writing and speaks, then Homer turns toward the kitchen counter, with a ketchup bottle, a box, and a dish towel on the counter, and a notepad and calendar on the wall behind him.
