What happens

No characters appear in this animated scene of the town of Springfield. The view opens over the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, with its twin cooling towers marked by atom symbols and a yellow banner reading "Welcome to Springfield Nuclear Power Plant" in the foreground, above rows of pink, orange and grey buildings and green hills. The view then pans over the rooftops and a large cooling tower toward a street lined with a striped awning and a potted tree, leading to the front of a building with a sign reading "Springfield Elementary School" above double glass doors and steps. The scene ends on a close view of the school's side wall, where a window reveals a classroom with a desk and a chalkboard.
