Apu stands at the store counter holding a phone to his ear and a dark object in his hand

What happens

Apu, the Kwik-E-Mart clerk with a short brown hairdo, light blue shirt and a red-and-white badge, stands at the store counter holding a phone to his ear and a dark object in his hand. He grimaces, then gestures sharply with the object toward the blue shelving and a red display reading 'DRINK' while speaking animatedly. Behind him sits a large Squishee cup, a dark cabinet and an open freezer case, and jars of candy sit on the counter. Apu's expression sours as he leans against the cabinet, then he straightens and waves the object again in an emphatic, exasperated motion.
