What happens

A store clerk in a light blue uniform shirt with a name badge and brown hair, who is not one of the regulars, stands behind the counter of a convenience store with a Squishee cup sign, jars of candy, and a CASH sign in front of him. He holds a cordless phone to his ear with one hand and a dark object in the other, glancing sideways, then grimacing and leaning an arm against the freezer case. He stays on the call while shifting his stance and gripping the dark item at his side.
