What happens

Inside a cramped spacecraft cabin, white-suited astronauts sit and float among blue seats while potato chips drift through the air, including a dark-haired astronaut in the middle and a bulky white-suited figure with a helmet above. A control panel with three switches marked ON and a blue grid screen comes into view, and a red ant crawls across the panel as a bright electrical arc sparks from a circuit board. The dark-haired astronaut is then shown with ants and chips crawling over his face and suit, and his companion's helmet is swarmed too. Finally, a grey-haired man in a brown jacket on the left and bald Homer in a white shirt on the right watch this scene unfold on a computer monitor as ants swarm the cabin.
