What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt and blue shorts, stands atop a pink car parked on the driveway in front of the family house, arms raised, while Homer, the bald heavy man in a white shirt and blue pants, stands beside the car's front fender. In the opening sequence the title card THE SIMPSONS appears over drifting clouds against a blue sky, then the view moves to the driveway where Bart climbs onto the roof of the pink car and then Homer is seen beside it. Notable objects include a red mailbox at the curb, a garage holding a bicycle and cardboard boxes, and a brick wall on the right.
