What happens

Bart Simpson, the boy with spiky hair in an orange shirt and blue shorts, stands at a classroom chalkboard filled with repeated lines reading "There are plenty of businesses like show business" that extend off the top and left edges. He first stands at the board with his arm raised and chalk in hand, then hops sideways with arms out and a grinning, eyes-squeezed expression as the lines of text remain on the board. A red wastebasket, a wall clock and a framed picture sit on the green wall beside him. Before the chalkboard sequence, the scene opens on a black screen, then drifting clouds over a blue sky, and the title card "The Simpsons" in yellow letters over the clouds.
