What happens

Homer, in a bulky yellow protective suit, stands at a control panel in the nuclear plant beside Mr. Burns and Smithers, gripping orange tongs that hold a glowing green rod under a 'CAUTION' sign, then turns his back and reaches toward the panel as the green rod floats overhead. The scene shifts to a store checkout where Maggie, wearing a blue bow, reads a 'Mom Monthly' magazine with 'Frosted Krusty Flakes' on its cover, and a brief orange blur follows before Maggie, sucking a pacifier, sits in a shopping cart while Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red beads, closes her eyes and smiles with a hand raised beside her. Notable objects include the 'CAUTION' sign, a 'Checks' sign, a bottle on the counter, and the bright orange wall behind Marge and Maggie.
