What happens

Homer, in a yellow protective suit and helmet, holds a glowing green rod beside a CAUTION sign while Mr. Burns and Smithers watch from a control booth; Homer then turns and points at the panel as Burns, holding a blueprint, looks on with Smithers. The scene cuts to Lisa, wearing glasses, reading the magazine Mom Monthly with a Frosted Krusty Flakes cover at a store counter, with Marge's blue hair visible at the left edge. A blurred orange screen follows, and then Maggie, with a pacifier and blue bow, peers over a shopping cart as Marge, in a green dress and red beads, smiles with eyes closed and raises a hand near her mouth. Visible text includes CAUTION, Mom Monthly, and Frosted Krusty Flakes.
