Homer holds a glowing green rod at a CAUTION sign in the nuclear plant while Mr. Burns and his thin assistant Smithers watch from the control booth
The Simpsons, “Lisa the Skeptic” (season 9, episode 8), 0:12–0:24
What happens
Homer, in a yellow protective suit with an orange harness and a visor, holds a glowing green rod at a CAUTION sign in the nuclear plant while Mr. Burns, frail and stooped with grey hair at the sides, and his thin assistant Smithers, with glasses, watch from the control booth. The scene cuts to a store checkout where Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red beads, reads a MOM MONTHLY magazine with a Frosted Krusty Flakes cover while Maggie, with her blue bow and pacifier, sits on the conveyor belt beside a clerk in a grey apron. Marge then pushes a wire shopping cart across an orange tiled floor, and Maggie peeks over the cart's edge before Marge waves her hands in front of her.
