About the episode

Homer averts a meltdown at the plant by choosing a button with "eeny, meeny, miny, moe," and is celebrated as a hero while privately fearing exposure. When Aristotle Amadopolis invites him to address the Shelbyville plant, another meltdown strikes, and the same blind luck rescues him, giving the world the phrase "pulling a Homer." Meanwhile, Milhouse's mother, Luann Van Houten, keeps him away from Bart until Marge intervenes.
