What happens

Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart and Roy, a man in a red cap and dark sunglasses with a teal shirt, gather at the kitchen table, with Maggie seated in a high chair at the table's edge. Roy, a stranger to the family, sits at the left by the microwave and then smiles as the others gather around, while Homer, wearing glasses and a white shirt, holds up a Springfield Shopper newspaper with the headline "FUNNY DOG TO MAKE LIFE WORTHWHILE" and then lowers it to reveal his grin. Lisa, in a red-beaded necklace, sits with a bowl of cereal and milk and gestures with one hand, and Bart, in an orange shirt, eats from a bowl at the right. The kitchen has purple cabinets, a microwave, a dish rack, a sink with a window showing a backyard fence, and a glass of milk on the table.
