What happens

Homer, in a yellow hazmat suit with a visor, holds a glowing green rod with tongs beside a CAUTION sign with a radiation symbol, while Mr. Burns and Smithers watch from behind a counter; Homer then turns his back and reaches toward a green-and-red control panel as the rod hovers above. The scene shifts to Maggie, with her blue bow, reading a magazine labeled MOM MONTHLY at a checkout counter beside a green bottle and a blue cash register, followed by a brief blurred orange wipe and then Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red bead necklace, raising a hand near Maggie at a metal cart.
