What happens

Homer, in a yellow protective suit with an orange harness and visor, stands at a red counter under a CAUTION sign holding a glowing green rod while Mr. Burns and Smithers look on from a control desk, and then Homer turns and gestures with a shocked expression. Marge, with her tall blue beehive and red beads, reads a MOM Monthly magazine beside a checkout counter where Maggie, with a blue bow, stands with a cashier in a grey apron, and later Marge pushes a shopping cart while Maggie, in the cart, puts a red object in her mouth and reacts as Marge raises her hands in a gesture. A sign reading CHECKS and a cash register are visible in the store.
