What happens

This is a cartoon scene from The Simpsons' Itchy and Scratchy segment, set on a sunny tropical beach beside a white jet with red nose and engines, a purple boarding staircase, and a palm tree. In the first moment, a yellow taxi with a bear driver sits on the tarmac while a small blue mouse-like character runs toward the plane's stairs. The plane then takes off into a yellow sky, and a sign reading 'AUJOURD'HUI: LE BOMBE ATOMIQUE' with a bomb icon and French flag appears beside the runway. Finally, a group of white-coated scientists in dark glasses, one with a green head, one with blue hair and binoculars, and a pink panther-like figure, stand on the beach watching, while the blue mouse-like character runs across the sand toward the distant palm trees.
