What happens

Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie stand beside a uniformed officer in a blue cap and jacket with medals, first in front of a beige building and then in a classroom doorway, where the officer leads them in past a seated man at a desk and a row of students. A tight close-up follows Lisa, with her star-shaped hair and red dress and pearl necklace, who first smiles with a sly, sideways look and then grimaces with her mouth pulled down and eyes glancing aside. The classroom has a US map on the wall, a chalkboard on the right, a red cross sign by the door and a wastebasket near the desk.
