Bart stands on the roof of the pink car in the Simpsons' driveway, while Homer leans into the open hood of the same car

What happens

Bart, the spiky-haired boy in an orange shirt, stands on the roof of the pink car in the Simpsons' driveway, while Homer, bald and heavy in a white shirt and blue pants, leans into the open hood of the same car. The scene opens on black, then drifts through blue sky and puffy clouds to the title card reading "THE SIMPSONS" in yellow letters. The view then settles on the driveway, with a red mailbox on the lawn, a garage with boxes and a bicycle inside, and a brick wall at the side. Bart stands on the car roof while Homer bends over the open hood.
