Lisa Simpson stands at a microphone on a stage, and Ralph Wiggum stands beside her at a second microphone

What happens

Lisa Simpson, in a pink dress and holding a stack of cards, stands at a microphone on a stage, and Ralph Wiggum, in a grey suit and red bow tie, stands beside her at a second microphone. Behind them hangs a large portrait of a grey-haired man in a suit, with an American flag and a building painted on the backdrop, below a partly visible banner reading "HAP...PY" and "...RY" in a red-curtained hall where an audience sits in the foreground, with Marge's blue beehive visible at the bottom edge. Lisa speaks and grins while looking up, then Ralph grins with his teeth showing and gestures with his hands out at his sides, while the audience sits in silence.
