What happens
Homer, in a yellow hazmat suit with an orange harness and a welding-style visor, stands at a control booth beneath a CAUTION sign at the nuclear plant, holding a glowing green rod that he passes and fumbles while Mr. Burns, frail and stooped with a hooked nose, and Smithers, thin with glasses, look on from the desk. Homer then turns away from the booth and the glow shifts about, leaving Burns and Smithers still at the console. Later, at the Kwik-E-Mart, Marge with her tall blue beehive reads a copy of Mom Monthly while Maggie, with her pacifier and blue bow, stands by the checkout counter. Maggie then climbs toward a shopping cart with a gap in its top edge, and Marge, a hand raised, watches her in surprise before Maggie leans over the cart and pulls her pacifier out, while Marge closes her eyes and smiles.
