What happens

On a rocky cliff edge under a grey sky, a crowd of villagers in Puritan dress, including Homer and Grampa, stands behind a burly, helmeted man in a black vest who holds a broom while a woman in a tall white wig and black cape faces him. He gestures and talks as she reaches for the broom, and beside him two helmeted men look on, one holding a flaming torch. The woman then rides the broom away from the cliff, flying along a red rock face as pebbles fall past her.
