Bart first appears as a tiny insect on a blue-and-white checkered floor near a bowl-like glass container containing a dark blue liquid
The Simpsons, “Treehouse of Horror VIII” (season 9, episode 4), 11:19–11:28
What happens
Bart, shown with a fly's body and wings but his spiky-haired yellow head, first appears as a tiny insect on a blue-and-white checkered floor near a bowl-like glass container containing a dark blue liquid. He moves across the tiles and then rises into the air, where he flies against a plain blue sky beside a dark vertical edge on the right. Bart's wide-eyed, startled face bobs and tilts as he flutters in midair, with his wings and six legs visible throughout.
