The Simpsons, “Bart Star” (season 9, episode 6), 13:04–13:14
What happens
Homer, wearing a brown fedora and whistle and holding a clipboard, stands on the sideline in front of the wooden bleachers while Ned Flanders, a moustached man in a green sweater, lurks behind him and a blond boy in a red number 8 jersey sits on the bench. Flanders leans into view, Homer grits his teeth and flips through his clipboard, and then the action moves to the field, where red-helmeted players in numbers 15 and 11 line up against players in black jerseys and the ball is snapped. The setting is a football field with yellow goalposts, bleachers and trees under a blue sky.
